 Frequently Asked Questions about Family Photography

  • I offer you as much involvement as you’d like in choosing a location. I love shooting outdoors and being in locations that mean something to you as a family! I’m an avid hiker of the Boise Foothills and can recommend amazing locations that will not disappoint.

  • You bet! I want you to feel confident, joyful, and comfortable in your clothes. I’ll help you find coordinating pieces for each other as well as the location we choose.

  • I understand the fear of having to get everyone ready, drive to a location, and then ask for everyone to engage and play. You can rest assured that I keep things light and easy during the whole session.

    Typically we will spend 45 to 60 minutes capturing your beautiful family.

  • All pets are welcome! They are, after all, part of the family too. I do recommend bringing someone along or having a place for them to go during a portion of our session. I would hate for them to get lost and it is wonderful to have a variety of images, with and without your pet.

  • This is the most common fear parents have and I completely understand. As a mom of 2, kids can be unpredictable. I’m here to set you at ease. I love creating a connection with littles and creating a fun and playful environment for them. No fear should hold you back from capturing these memories. I also include some tips and tricks to help prepare your littles for your family session.

  • Life happens! I happily remove all types of blemishes from acne to scratches.

  • It is so easy for your brain to get caught up in the negativity, to forget all the great things that have happened. In our family, we have a Jar of Awesome. Anytime someone shares exceptional news or something went amazingly well, we take a picture and add the memory to our Jar of Awesome. At the end of the year, we put them all into a photo book. All the memories and stories already documented and ready for sharing again and again. It always brings us closer
